Speaking to heavy duty slide applied to railway industry, "Strength" and "Durability" are 2 essentials, since the railcar environment is neither static like racks in the warehouse, nor constant air conditioned like in the office. Instead, railcar is a vehicle that constantly moving high speed with vibration, furthermore, the surrounding environment changes with geographical location of the train passing by. In this case, naturally any component needs to meet the industry standard.

Battery box is one of the common applications, these heavy batteries are mounted underneath the railcar and play a big role of supplying power to outlets, A/C and so on, weight of all batteries add up can easily reach hundreds of kgs. When it comes to maintenance process, the staffs need to bend over to one by one take out these batteries from limited battery box space, which is an absolute tedious, back-hurting and time-consuming job for all crew.
After utilizing slides into battery boxes, battery maintenance is no longer a low efficient process. The strong slide structure and smooth raceway allows personnel to slide out a full-load battery tray with single hand, which save the maintenance crew over 50% of time.
Slides applied to battery box not only requested to withstand the battery weight, but also required to withstand long-term vibration, shock caused by tilting and corrosion came from environment changes. As a result, selecting a proper slide can directly affect the lifecycle of battery slide-out function.
Professional range is able to support 250 - 2000kg load; extension level up to 200%. Surface is finished in industrial zinc plating, bearings & slide material are interchangable with stainless steel 316L to reinforce corrosion resistant feature. The full series can support wide range of battery box design.
Seating in railcar are also applicable to this series. In recent years, the seat design for trains has gradually transferred to the form of aircraft seats. As personal space and comfort are the core product appeals for business/first class seats, the seat is designed towards the cradle seat that does not bother the space of other passengers, even some driver seats are gradually designed with adjustable feature too.
Telescopic slide is the key mechanism to make these seats achieve full-flat or adjustable functions. In this case, in addition to the basic load capacity and cycle times, the slide must be able to withstand the offset load caused by passenger's habit of using the seat, furthermore, perform no deflection and malfunction after passing crash test. This is to ensure passengers' safety and minimal disfunction frequency.
Professional range performs excellent resistance to offset load and shock, material of cold drawn steel endows the slide robust rigidity to constantly take dynamic load. The smallest profile in the series has the standard to withstand 12G force, larger profiles have been tested up to military level 42G. The outstanding performance makes this series widely used in seating designs.
