The Professional Range of extreme duty telescopic slides has been extended to include all stainless steel versions. This follows the interchangeable steel and aluminium formats to provide the end user with total flexibility for future design demands.
Our extreme environment stainless steel slides are manufactured from marine grade 316L (1.4404) stainless steel (inox) offering a very high corrosion resistance, including marine applications. The austenitic structure of 316L stainless gives excellent toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures. High and low temperature grease can be applied at customer's request. The beams are polished to a bright finish on all surface areas as standard.
As an industry first, Sliding Systems can now supply advanced FEA analysis reports for all products within the Professional Range. This will enable the design engineer to accurately calculate peak loading, deflection and operating forces within their bespoke projects.
There are three extension options available with this range of slides:
The SDTS 'I' beam profile is particularly suited for highly corrosive applications with prolonged exposure to the elements. Having a compact profiles, this makes them an excellent choice for undercarriage train battery rafts in hostile conditions, marine/offshore or military vehicles working in sub-zero climates. Constructed from milled stainless steel sections, with machined ball tracks for accuracy, the slides have excellent levels of shock and vibration resistance. Accordingly the product is well suited to supporting generators and heavy machine guards, even with an over extension of 120%. The beams and ball bearings are manufactured from austenitic grade 316L. End stop bolts are grade 304 with cages made from ferritic grade 430 stainless, for complete corrosion protection.
Due to the extreme strength of the mobile 'I' beam, these slides are robust to applied loads when in the extended position making them an excellent choice for dynamic applications, unlike many other slides manufactured from weaker rolled steel 'C' sections. There are no plastic parts in the manufacture of this range, making it ideal for high and low temperature use. The SDTSB version of this slide is fitted for an extension front and rear, equal to the closed length. Please ask our engineers for further information.
Prices are per single slide. Loadings are given per extended pair. There are two slides per pair. The stainless steel slides are manufactured to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery or can be stocked for immediate call off against scheduled orders.

Partial Extension
Partial extension slides can travel 50% of the closed length or up to 70% with no reduction in load
SDTSB滑軌提供雙向全行程延展, 此為在滑軌本身設計特殊機件來達成。 We do not recommend standard SDTSB slides on accurate robotic pick & place or high speed shuttles, without factory adaptation and customer in situ testing, prior to committing to production.
