Another successful project completed...!!
This time we were challenged to help build a medical bed with leg extension function featured, therefore the bed can be adjusted to fit different person's height. The mechanism must be able to take human weight with high safety factor however need to be installed within limited installation space.
Facing such conditions, we selected DTS40 at 250mm length from our core product series Professional Range Steel to fit for the purpose, a small profile slide model with extreme robustness. This allows the extended part capable of holding 217kg weight with minimum deflection at 1%. We managed to dispatch the slides quickly in 6 days, result in a big smile on customer face in return.
Now the beds are in mass production for hospital units in Indonesia.
